(JD) – Assistant Professor/ Associate Professor/ Professor Department: Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) Organization: Chandigarh University

Location:
Mohali Campus, Punjab To provide academic leadership, deliver excellence in teaching and research, mentor students and faculty, and contribute to the strategic development of the Computer Science & Engineering department through innovation, research, and industry collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality lectures and facilitate effective learning in Computer Science & Engineering.
• Conduct advanced research and publish research papers in reputed journals and conferences.
• Guide undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.
D. scholars in research projects and dissertations, as applicable.
• Develop and update curriculum in alignment with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Apply for and contribute to funded research projects, consultancy assignments, and interdisciplinary initiatives.
• Mentor students and support their academic, skilled, and research development.
• Collaborate with industry partners, research institutions, and academic organizations.
• Contribute to departmental administration, accreditation, academic planning, and quality assurance.




• Mentor junior faculty members and support research capacity building.
• Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, and other academic initiatives. Educational Qualifications
• Ph.
D. in Computer Science & Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• M.
Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• A strong academic record and relevant specialization in the proposed area of teaching and research. Preferred Research and Technical Specializations
• Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
• Cybersecurity
• Cloud Computing
• Data Science and Big Data Analytics Experience and Competencies
• Relevant academic teaching and research experience as required for the applied designation.
• Strong research profile with publications in reputed journals and conferences.
• Experience in research supervision, funded projects, industry collaboration, or academic leadership will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
