Role Description The Academic Counsellor (Study Abroad) will provide one-on-one guidance to students exploring international education options, helping them choose suitable courses, universities, and countries based on their academic background and career goals. Responsibilities include conducting counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements, assisting with application and documentation processes, and coordinating with students and families throughout the study abroad journey. The role involves staying updated on global education trends, entry criteria, scholarships, and visa-related guidelines for destinations such as the UK, USA, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada.



The Academic Counsellor will also support outreach activities, seminars, and follow-up communication to ensure a positive applicant experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong skills in Student Counseling and Academic Advising to guide learners through program selection and application decisions.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with students, families, and institutional partners.
• Candidates should possess Career Counseling and Education-related expertise to connect academic choices with long-term professional pathways.
• Relevant experience in study abroad consulting, higher education advising, or academic services is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field preferred; additional certifications in counseling or career guidance are an advantage.
• Ability to work in a structured, in office environment in Kochi, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort with using computers, CRM tools, and online research to gather and present accurate information on international universities and programs.
