Bangalore / Mysore / Chennai Open Positions: 1 Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days preferred Opportunity: MNC Contract Role Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced WiFi Security Engineer to develop, integrate, and validate secure WiFi connectivity in embedded devices. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in WiFi firmware, wireless security protocols, TCP/IP networking, and embedded system debugging.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain embedded WiFi firmware, drivers, and connectivity components.
• Integrate and debug WiFi drivers, wpa_supplicant, and hostap components.
• Implement and validate WPA2/WPA3-Personal security, SAE, transition mode, and Protected Management Frames (802.11w).
• Configure, implement, and validate WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise security using 802.1X/EAP-TLS.
• Debug WiFi association, authentication, scanning, connection, and reconnection issues.
• Troubleshoot access point interoperability issues using Wireshark and wireless packet capture tools.
• Work with TCP/IP stacks, including lwIP and Zephyr networking, along with TLS and MQTT.
• Develop and debug embedded applications using C/C++ and RTOS environments.
• Investigate BLE/WiFi 2.4 GHz coexistence issues and apply RF fundamentals.
• Use JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other debugging tools to identify and resolve firmware issues.




• Collaborate with field teams, customer IT teams, and cross-functional engineering teams.
• Maintain source code, technical documentation, and issue tracking using Git and Jira. Mandatory Technical Skills
• 5+ years of relevant embedded firmware or WiFi engineering experience.
• Embedded WiFi firmware and driver development.
• TCP/IP networking in embedded environments.
• WPA2/WPA3-Personal, SAE, and PMF (802.11w).
• WPA2/WPA3-Enterprise, 802.1X, and EAP-TLS.
• C/C++ programming.
• RTOS programming and debugging.
• Wireless packet analysis and troubleshooting. Preferred Skills
• Zephyr RTOS and Zephyr network stack.
• lwIP, TLS, and MQTT.
• WiFi access point interoperability with Cisco, Aruba, Meraki, or Ruckus.
• Enterprise networking: RADIUS, VLANs, captive portals, and client isolation.
• BLE/WiFi coexistence and RF fundamentals.
• NXP RW61x, Silicon Labs, or similar connectivity microcontrollers.
• JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, Git, and Jira. EducationBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Candidate Requirements
• Willing to work from Bangalore, Mysore, or Chennai.
• Available to join within 15 days preferred.
• Robust analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skills.
