About the role
You’ll support the Franchise Head Coach in preparing players for competition and developing their skills. Working within your coaching specialism, you’ll deliver practical sessions, provide individual feedback and contribute to match preparation and match-day support. We’re looking for coaches with expertise in batting, bowling or fielding. Applicants should state their primary specialism.

Key responsibilities
• Deliver coaching sessions: Plan and run drills, nets and match simulations aligned with the Head Coach’s approach.
• Develop individual players: Provide technical and tactical support, agree development priorities and review progress.
• Support match preparation: Contribute specialist advice on opposition, conditions, player roles and match-ups.
• Provide match-day support: Lead warm-ups, communicate agreed information and record observations for review.
• Use footage and analysis:



Review training and match performances, turning observations into transparent, practical feedback.
• Inform selection: Advise the Head Coach on player form, readiness and suitability.
• Support player welfare: Build trust with players, identify concerns early and work with coaching and medical colleagues on appropriate workloads.
• Contribute to the coaching team: Maintain consistent messages, support colleagues and lead sessions when required. Coaching Specialism
• Batting: Develop technique, shot selection and approaches suited to different batting roles, bowlers and conditions.
• Bowling: Develop pace or spin skills, variations, tactical plans and field settings, while supporting appropriate bowling workloads.
• Fielding: Improve catching, ground fielding, throwing and wicketkeeping through focused practice and match preparation. What you'll bring
• A Level 1 or above cricket coaching qualification from BCCI, ACB, ECB or ICC.
• At least one year of practical cricket coaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of your coaching specialism and the ability to explain technical ideas clearly.
• Experience planning sessions and providing constructive individual feedback.
• The ability to work collaboratively under a Head Coach.
• An understanding of safeguarding, player welfare and age-appropriate coaching.
• Confidence reviewing footage and using available data to support player development.
