Role Description The Solar Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for guiding homeowners through their transition to rooftop solar. Daily activities include engaging with prospective customers, understanding their energy needs, and explaining suitable solar solutions, pricing, and financing options. The Solar Consultant will conduct site visits, coordinate with technical teams for system designs, and follow up on leads to maximize conversions. The role involves maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, providing timely updates, and ensuring a positive customer experience from initial contact through installation.



The consultant will also support local outreach activities and participate in events or campaigns that generate interest in residential solar. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess knowledge of the Solar Industry and Solar Power, including basic understanding of rooftop system components and benefits.
• Candidates should possess strong Lead Generation capabilities, with experience in identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective customers.
• Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to explain technical concepts clearly, build trust, and handle inquiries professionally.
• Candidates should possess a results-oriented mindset, with the ability to meet sales targets and manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
• Relevant experience in residential solar, energy solutions, or field sales is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai, conduct regular customer visits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in local languages and English, and comfort using digital tools for CRM and reporting.
• Graduate degree in any discipline; technical or business-related education is an advantage.
