COM Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer specializing in infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and modern cloud data platforms. We are looking for an engineer who builds robust, scalable infrastructure from operational principles rather than relying on standard templates. You will design, maintain, and optimize the underlying infrastructure and deployment workflows for end-to-end data migrations from Azure environments into Snowflake, orchestrated via Dagster. This role requires a robust focus on infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, and a zero-trust security model.

Key Responsibilities
• Infrastructure & Automation: Build, maintain, and scale infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and GitHub, establishing resilient CI/CD pipelines for data platforms and microservices.
• Pipeline Support & Deployment: Partner with data engineering teams to support operational deployments for Azure-to-Snowflake migration pipelines and Dagster workflow orchestration layers.
• Container & Cluster Management: Manage and monitor containerized workloads and cluster environments across Azure (AKS/Kubernetes) and storage layers (Blob Storage, Data Lake Gen2, Azure SQL, Synapse).
• Security & Governance: Enforce a security-first, zero-trust approach, configuring network policies, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), environment-level access restrictions, and strict Production/UAT segregation.




• Monitoring & Reliability: Implement robust observability, monitoring, and automated alerting for infrastructure health, deployment status, and data pipeline performance.
• Collaboration & Delivery: Collaborate closely with SRE, Data Engineering, and Product teams to streamline release cycles, optimize cloud resource costs, and ensure high availability. Candidate Requirements & Skill Matrix

Experience:
Proven track record in Azure cloud administration, infrastructure-as-code, and supporting data-intensive enterprise platforms or migration projects.
• Core Technologies: Hands-on implementation depth across Azure (AKS, Kubernetes, Blob Storage, Data Lake Gen2), Terraform, GitHub Actions / CI/CD, Dagster, and Snowflake.
• Repository & Version Control: Experience managing end-to-end version-controlled infrastructure code, configuration repositories, and automated branching strategies.
• Security & Access Control: Deep understanding of Azure and Snowflake RBAC, secure credential management, network policies, and clear Production/UAT environment separation.
• System Reliability: Experience maintaining high-availability backend environments, troubleshooting deployment bottlenecks, and handling incident responses.
