Purpose/Objective The Team Lead
- Commodity is responsible for supporting the monitoring, analysis, and execution of commodity risk management strategies. The role involves tracking global commodity markets, assisting in hedging operations, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to optimize commodity risk management. - Commodity Commodity Risk Monitoring & Analysis: Assist in identifying and tracking commodity price risks related to key raw materials and operational inputs. Monitor commodity market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and geopolitical factors impacting prices. Support the development and execution of hedging strategies to mitigate commodity price volatility. Maintain real-time tracking of commodity exposures and provide insights to support decision-making. Trade Execution & Reporting: Support the execution of trades in derivatives, futures, and other financial instruments in line with the hedging strategy. Maintain detailed records of commodity transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Assist in post-trade evaluations to assess the effectiveness of hedging strategies. Prepare and update reports on hedging performance, risk exposures, and market trends. Compliance & Governance:



Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies for commodity trading and hedging. Assist in preparing documentation for audits, regulatory reviews, and internal compliance checks. Help implement internal controls to mitigate operational risks in commodity transactions. Monitor and report any compliance issues to the Team Lead
- Commodity. Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with procurement teams to align commodity risk management with purchasing strategies. Coordinate with brokers, banks, and financial institutions for trade execution and market insights. Assist in liaising with middle and back office teams to ensure smooth transaction processing and reconciliation. Support communication of market updates, risk assessments, and strategy performance to internal stakeholders. Key Stakeholders

- External Commodity Brokers Suppliers Financial Institutions Regulators (SEBI, RBI) Educational Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, or related field / Post Graduation Relevant certifications in commodities or risk management preferred Work Experience (Range of years): 4-7 years of experience in commodity risk management, trading, treasury, or financial analysis.
