Role Description The Crop Advisor role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Nagpur, with some flexibility for work from home. The Crop Advisor will provide agronomic guidance to farmers and channel partners, including crop-specific recommendations on fertilisers, nutrients, and sustainable farming practices. Daily activities include visiting fields, conducting soil and crop assessments, organizing demonstrations and farmer meetings, and explaining the benefits and usage of DFPCL’s crop nutrition products. The role involves collecting and analyzing field data,



providing feedback to internal teams, and supporting sales and marketing initiatives with technical knowledge. The Crop Advisor will collaborate closely with the local sales team, maintain accurate records of farm visits and trials, and ensure responsible use of products in line with safety and regulatory standards. Qualifications
• Solid agronomy and crop science knowledge, with experience in crop nutrition, soil health, and fertiliser application.
• Ability to conduct on-field assessments, trials, and demonstrations, and translate observations into practical recommendations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with farmers, channel partners, and internal teams.
• Basic data collection, analysis, and reporting skills for documenting field activities and outcomes.
• Comfort with a hybrid work model, including frequent travel within the Nagpur region for field visits.
• Relevant educational background, such as a degree or diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, or a related discipline.
• Prior experience in crop advisory, agri-inputs, or fertiliser industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• Commitment to safety, ethical practices, and sustainable agriculture, aligned with DFPCL’s values of listening, caring, and delivering.
