Indian Silk House Agencies is a heritage saree and ethnic-wear retail brand (est. 1971) with 70+ stores across India. We're building our merchandising team to lead New Product Development, collection curation, and in-store presentation across our network — with a robust focus on sarees and ethnic wear. What you'll own:
• New Product Development (NPD) — working with weaving clusters, designer tie-ups, and vendors to build fresh collections season on season
• Collection and range planning across price points and store formats
• Product content and storytelling that helps stores sell, not just stock
• Visual merchandising — display standards, in-store execution across formats




• Working with regional/store teams so merchandising plans land correctly on the floor What we're looking for:
• Background in Fashion/Textile Design or Fashion Merchandising; a design-institute education (NIFT or equivalent) is a strong plus
• Experience with saree, ethnic wear, or handloom textiles is preferred
• An eye for visual merchandising and retail presentation
• 0–5 years of experience preferred; candidates with 7+ years of deep saree/ethnic-wear category expertise also considered for senior roles
• Based in or willing to relocate to Kolkata
