Role Description The Computer Aided Design (CAD) Designer is a full time, on-site role based in Jaipur, focused on creating detailed digital designs for jewelry collections. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing precise CAD models, preparing technical and construction drawings for manufacturing, and refining designs based on input from designers, artisans, and production teams. The role involves collaborating closely with design and merchandising teams to translate creative concepts into production-ready files, ensuring accuracy in dimensions, stone settings, and material specifications.



The CAD Designer also supports continuous improvement by updating design libraries, maintaining organized digital records, and aligning output with quality, cost, and timeline requirements. Qualifications Strong skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and Design Engineering to create accurate, manufacturable jewelry designs. Ability in Technical Drawing and Construction Drawings to produce clear, detailed documentation for artisans and production teams. Solid Drawing and visualization skills to translate creative concepts into precise digital models. Experience in jewelry or product design, especially working with gemstones, metals, and setting techniques. Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and the ability to balance design creativity with practical production constraints. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with designers, craftspeople, and business stakeholders in office. proficient in Z Brush,Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD or similar and familiarity with 3D printing or prototyping is an advantage. Diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, Mechanical/Design Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
