The Yellow Dwelling is an all natural, contemporary home furnishing brand. We are a fast growing D2C brand in our eighth year, with nine retail stores across Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Pune, and a Shopify webstore that serves customers across India. Job Summary: We are looking for an Ecommerce Manager to fully own our Shopify store, its front end, and Promate, our custom app built on Shopify. You will also manage our presence on Amazon, Pepperfry and boutique marketplaces, keep the catalogue clean, train store teams, and work with our design team and tech agency to deliver what the business needs.

Responsibilities:
Shopify and Website
• Maintain the shopify store which includes cataloging, SKU management, banners, price & Hygiene checks
• Coordinate with our developer to ensure the site is error free and fast on all platforms
• Plan updates for collection launches and sales in the stipulated time. Promate (Custom App)
• Understand and master our custom app called Promate: find gaps, write requirements, and test every release before it goes live.
• Drive improvements on the app by taking to the users, management and tech agency Listings and Catalogue Hygiene
• List new products with accurate titles, images, prices, variants, SKUs and fabric details.
• Keep inventory and pricing in sync across Shopify, Promate and stores. Marketplaces
• List products on Amazon, Pepperfry and selected boutique marketplaces, and keep listings accurate.
• Maintain stock levels on each marketplace to avoid stock outs and cancellations.
• Review marketplace performance monthly and recommend actions to improve sales. Audits and Reporting




• Run weekly audits of listings, pricing, inventory and site functionality, and close every issue found.
• Share a monthly report on website and marketplace performance. Sales Team Training
• Train store teams on the website and Promate, and keep training guides and SOPs updated. Design Team and Tech Agency
• Brief the design team on banners, images and landing pages.
• Be the single point of contact for the tech agency: brief, track timelines, and sign off work before release. What You should have:
• 3 to 5 years in ecommerce, with at least 2 years managing a Shopify store end to end.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify admin, themes, apps, metafields and checkout.
• Experience managing listings and stock on marketplaces such as Amazon and Pepperfry.
• Experience working with tech agencies, writing requirements and testing releases.
• High attention to detail and comfort training non technical teams. Positive to Have:
• Experience in handing e-commerce + offline operations in home furnishing, fashion, décor or D2C brands.
• Experience with an omnichannel setup where online and offline stores share inventory.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or similar tools. Job Details
