you will embed design compliance directly into our everyday tools. You will be involved in prioritizing the product roadmap based on usage data, user friction points, and LLM-readiness. You will design and scale a comprehensive MDS 2.0 Figma component library, integrating variants and design tokens that map one-to-one with production code. You will oversee the engineering of our MDS-themed React Component Library, ensuring pixel-perfect visual fidelity and adherence to global accessibility standards. You will design and document cutting-edge, LLM-assisted workflows—including direct React code generation and Figma-to-code handoffs. You will author skill files, reference documentation, and constraint systems that steer AI-generated code toward brand compliance. You will develop automated validation tooling (including lint rules, checklists, and automated audits) to catch brand and usability violations before code is deployed. You will be involved in structuring internal pilot programs, gather user feedback, and continuously iterate on system assets and workflows to drive firm-wide adoption and compliance. Your Qualifications and Skills
• 5+ years of experience in product design with design system experience
• Able to build and maintain a production Figma component library with auto-layout, variants, and design tokens; familiar with Dev Mode and design-to-code workflows
• Understands design-system token architecture (color, typography, spacing, elevation) and how tokens flow from design tools into themed component code
• Has used LLM-based coding agents (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude, or similar) for UI generation and understands how to author the documents and constraints that guide agent output
• Able to define a vision, build a prioritized roadmap, and make scope trade-offs based on evidence rather than feature wish lists
• Experience running user research or pilot programs and translating findings into product improvements
