We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Swiss-Type CNC Programmer to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical engineering, CNC programming, and precision machining, with an interest in developing expertise in Swiss-type CNC machining and CAM software. The role involves developing and optimizing CNC programs, supporting machining process improvements, and ensuring accuracy and efficiency in manufacturing operations. Training will be provided on the relevant software and tools required for the role.

Key Responsibilities
· CNC Programming: Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for Swiss-type turning machines based on component specifications and production requirements.
· CAM Programming: Create and modify machining programs using CAM software, with training provided where required.
· Machining Process Optimization: Assist in optimizing cutting parameters, tool selection, machining sequences, and cycle times to improve productivity and component quality.
· Simulation and Verification: Perform toolpath simulations and program verification to identify potential collisions, programming errors, and machining inefficiencies.
· Drawing Interpretation: Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and GD&T; requirements to develop appropriate machining strategies.
· Technical Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve programming and machining issues in collaboration with the engineering and production teams.
· Process Improvement: Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining accuracy, efficiency, and surface finish.
· Documentation:



Maintain CNC programs, machining documentation, tooling information, and relevant process records. Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
· 3–5 years of relevant experience in CNC programming, CNC machining, or precision manufacturing.
· Experience with Swiss-type CNC turning machines is preferred.
· Basic understanding of CNC programming, turning operations, cutting tools, and machining processes.
· Familiarity with CAM software and CNC programming concepts.
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand component specifications.
· Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Willingness to learn recent software and develop expertise in Swiss-type machining and CAM programming.
· Valuable communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a technical team. Preferred Qualifications
· Hands-on experience with Swiss-type CNC machines and precision turned components.
· Familiarity with multi-axis machining, live tooling, C-axis operations, and sub-spindle machining.
· Basic knowledge of G-code and CNC machine programming.
· Experience with CAD/CAM software and machining simulations.
· A proactive attitude, attention to detail, and an interest in learning new technologies. Training and Development Training will be provided on the relevant CAM software, programming techniques, and tools required for the role.
