Experience:
5+ Years Qualification: BE/BTech Domain: Broadband Gateway / Cable Modem / RDK-B Platform Required

Skills:
• Strong hands-on experience in embedded software/firmware development for Broadband CPE, Cable Modems, or Gateway platforms.
• Strong proficiency in C and C++ programming.
• Hands-on experience with RDK-B development, integration, and debugging.
• Strong experience with Embedded Linux and Yocto build environments.
• Good understanding of DOCSIS and broadband gateway architecture.
• Experience with Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 technologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Knowledge of device management protocols such as USP/TR-369 and TR-069/ACS, along with telemetry.
• Hands-on debugging experience using tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, and iPerf.
• Familiarity with Git, GitLab/Jenkins, JIRA, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Roles &

Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, integrate, and maintain RDK-B firmware/software components using C/C++ on Embedded Linux platforms.




• Develop and support firmware for Broadband Gateways, Cable Modems, and Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 platforms.
• Develop, customize, and debug software in Embedded Linux/Yocto environments.
• Work on DOCSIS, networking, device management, telemetry, and Wi-Fi features.
• Troubleshoot system-level, networking, connectivity, and performance issues using Linux debugging and network analysis tools.
• Support RDK-B firmware integration, defect resolution, validation, and software release activities.
• Work with networking protocols including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, IPv4, and IPv6.
• Support device management and telemetry capabilities using USP/TR-369 and TR-069/ACS.
• Collaborate with architecture, development, QA, automation, OEM, and customer teams for feature development and issue resolution.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and technical discussions related to broadband gateway platforms. Valuable to Have:
• Experience with OpenSync, Plume, or EasyMesh.
• Experience working with OEM platforms such as Vantiva, Sercomm, Askey, Sagemcom, or CommScope.
• Experience supporting Cable/MSO or broadband service providers.
