Role Description This is a full time, on-site Android BSP Developer role, located in Bengaluru South. The Android BSP Developer will work on board support packages for Android-based systems, focusing on low-level embedded C development, integration, and optimization. Responsibilities include configuring and customizing Android BSPs, bringing up hardware platforms, developing and debugging device drivers, and ensuring stable interaction between hardware and the Android OS. The role involves close collaboration with hardware, embedded software,



and system integration teams to troubleshoot issues, improve performance, and ensure reliability across mobile and embedded platforms. The developer will also contribute to documentation, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development and testing practices. Qualifications
• Mobile Application Development and Mobile Applications skills for working with Android-based products and embedded platforms.
• Android Development and Android Design capabilities to customize BSPs, optimize system behavior, and support user-facing features.
• Software Development skills with strong proficiency in embedded C and familiarity with system-level programming.
• Experience with Android BSP, board bring-up, bootloaders, and device driver development for embedded or mobile hardware.
• Solid understanding of operating systems concepts, hardware–software interfaces, and performance optimization on resource-constrained systems.
• Hands-on experience with debugging tools, version control systems, and build frameworks commonly used in embedded and Android development.
• Ability to collaborate in cross-functional engineering teams, communicate clearly, and document technical designs and implementation details.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, with approximately 3–6 years of relevant industry experience.
