Role Description The Assistant Professor – Human Resource Management will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, tutorials, and seminars to undergraduate and postgraduate students in HRM and related disciplines. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and updating course materials, preparing lesson plans, evaluating student performance, and providing academic mentoring and guidance. The role also involves engaging in research activities, publishing in academic journals, participating in conferences, and contributing to curriculum development aligned with industry trends.



The Assistant Professor will collaborate with colleagues on departmental initiatives, participate in academic committees, and support outreach, training, and industry interaction activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Amity University’s Bengaluru campus. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Human Resource Management and related areas such as organizational behavior, talent management, performance management, and labor laws.
• Demonstrated ability in teaching, curriculum design, and academic assessment at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.
• Research skills including quantitative or qualitative methods, academic writing, and a record of publications or explicit potential to publish in peer-reviewed journals.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse learners and foster an inclusive classroom environment.
• Experience in or exposure to industry practices in HR, including HR analytics, employee engagement, and strategic HRM, will be an advantage.
• Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Management, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution; a Ph.
D. or enrollment in a Ph.
D. program is highly preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively within academic teams, contribute to departmental initiatives, and support student development beyond the classroom.
