Role Description The Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Pune City. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including recording transactions, preparing and maintaining ledgers, and reconciling bank accounts. Responsibilities include handling accounts payable and receivable, generating invoices, tracking payments, and ensuring accurate documentation for all financial activities. The role involves preparing periodic financial statements, assisting with budgeting, supporting tax and statutory compliance,



and coordinating with external auditors or consultants as needed. The Accountant will also help optimize accounting processes, maintain organized records, and support management with financial reports and analysis for decision-making. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including ledger management, bank reconciliation, and familiarity with accounts payable and receivable.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including use of formulas, spreadsheets, and basic data analysis.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance relevant to Indian business regulations.
• Candidates should possess skills in financial reporting, basic budgeting, and preparing management reports with attention to accuracy and timelines.
• Candidates should possess strong analytical and numerical skills, along with the ability to identify discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
• Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.
• Relevant education such as a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a similar field; qualified qualifications (e.g., CA/Inter, CMA/Inter) are an advantage.
