Tech Civil Role Summary The Design & Planning Executive will support the design and planning team in preparing layouts, drawings, space planning, and furniture placement for client projects. This role focuses on drafting, documentation, BOQ support, and coordination with internal teams under the guidance of the Design & Planning Engineer. The position requires good AutoCAD skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and basic understanding of furniture or interior project workflows. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
1. Design & Layout Support
• Assist in preparing and modifying 2D layouts, furniture placement drawings, and space planning.
• Support development of workstation layouts, modular furniture drawings, storage systems, and interiors.
• Ensure drawings follow given measurements, design standards, and basic ergonomic guidelines.
• Convert inputs from seniors and clients into accurate working drawings. 2. Technical Drawing & Documentation
• Prepare AutoCAD drawings such as plans, elevations, sections, and basic fabrication details.
• Update drawings based on feedback from seniors, production, or project teams.
• Maintain proper drawing records and version control. 3. BOQ & Estimation Support




• Assist in quantity calculations and material take-oAs.
• Help prepare BOQs based on approved layouts and instructions.
• Update Excel sheets related to costing and quantities under supervision. 4. Coordination with Internal Teams
• Coordinate with production and project teams for clarifications and minor revisions.
• Support purchase and execution teams with drawings and specifications.
• Assist seniors in preparing drawings for tenders, proposals, and internal reviews. 5. Site & Client Support
• Assist in site measurements and basic site understanding when required.
• Update drawings as per feedback received from clients or seniors.
• Support documentation for final approvals. 6. Quality & Standards
• Ensure drawings follow company standards and design guidelines.
• Cross-check drawings for accuracy before submission.
• Learn and follow best practices related to furniture systems and installation requirements. Qualifications

• Required Skills & Technical Competencies
• AutoCAD (Positive working knowledge – mandatory)
• Basic Excel knowledge (quantity sheets, BOQs)
• Understanding of furniture layouts, interior drawings, or modular systems
• Ability to read architectural drawings (basic level)
• Willingness to learn materials, hardware, and manufacturing processes
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
