Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer role based in Pune City at the Global Engineering Services Center. The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems for industrial automation, plant engineering, and related applications. Daily activities include creating detailed 3D models and drawings using CAD tools, performing design calculations, selecting appropriate materials and components, and ensuring designs meet functional, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams,



supporting manufacturing and panel-building activities, reviewing and updating technical documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and processes. The Mechanical Design Engineer will also assist in design reviews, respond to client feedback, and support project delivery timelines and quality objectives. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering skills, with a solid understanding of engineering fundamentals and industry standards.
• Candidates should possess Machine Design and Product Design skills, including experience with mechanisms, assemblies, and component selection for industrial and plant applications.
• Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, preferably with proficiency in tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar 3D and 2D platforms.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Mechanical Engineering or related discipline) from an accredited institution.
• Experience in industrial automation, plant engineering, or related sectors is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, standards, and client requirements, and translate them into robust mechanical designs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to engage with global stakeholders and project teams.
