FuturEarth Design Solutions (FEDS) | Bengaluru | Full-time (part time considered for experienced candidates) I On-site What you will do
• Build SDR-based systems that detect and locate radio signals in the VHF/UHF range
• Design and test direction-finding setups, including antenna choice and array layout
• Turn a working bench prototype into a compact payload for small drones and gro und poles
• Work on the RF front end: LNAs, filters, cabling, shielding
• Connect RF output to our embedded boards and send clean data to our central system
• Test in the field, including remote and forest locations What you should have
• 2+ years of hands-on RF or SDR work
• Experience with GNU Radio and at least one SDR
• DSP basics: FFT, filtering, signal detection
• Python or C/C++
• Comfort with a spectrum analyzer, VNA and antennas
• Willingness to travel for field tests Good to have
• Direction finding with coherent receivers (e.g. K rakenSDR)
• RF PCB layout
• Drone payload integration
• Experience with radio telemetry To apply
