Senior Business Analyst – Cybersecurity Operations

Hyderabad, India Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Cybersecurity Operations and Intelligence team. The candidate will drive the development of a Target Operating Model (TOM), support cybersecurity operations strategy, and lead business analysis and technology delivery initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in business requirements gathering, process mapping, operating model design, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management within complex technology environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define the Target Operating Model (TOM), strategic objectives, and measurable business outcomes.
• Gather, analyse, document, and manage business and technical requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, solution design, development, testing, and implementation.
• Develop use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and process maps.
• Conduct quality assurance to ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.
• Support business case development, benefits analysis, and expected business value assessments.
• Prepare management reports and provide programme updates and insights to senior leadership, governance forums, and steering committees.
• Identify, document, and manage programme risks, dependencies, issues, and cross-functional challenges.
• Develop user acceptance test (UAT) plans and coordinate testing activities.
• Maintain project documentation, operational procedures, and business process documentation.
• Support governance and compliance processes related to system delivery and operational changes.
• Develop business transition plans, handover criteria, and operational readiness documentation.




• Facilitate escalations to senior management and resolve delivery blockers.
• Support and guide junior Business Analysts while ensuring timely delivery of project outcomes. Required Skills and Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Solution Analyst in technology delivery projects.
• Proven experience in developing Target Operating Models (TOMs), operating strategies, or process transformation initiatives.
• Strong expertise in business requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, and solution definition.
• Experience creating use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and process maps.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum or SAFe.
• Experience in business requirements validation, UAT, and quality assurance.
• Solid knowledge of business process documentation and change implementation.
• Experience working in complex enterprise technology environments.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical, planning, and reporting capabilities. Key Competencies

Preferred Candidate Profile Candidates with experience in cybersecurity operations, cyber risk, security transformation, or information security technology programmes will be particularly relevant.
