Overview / Role Summary This role is responsible for the design, development and debugging of microcontroller-based hardware, including schematic and PCB design, component selection, bill of materials creation, technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and debug embedded hardware
• Work with teams to define hardware requirements
• Produce hardware documentation and test plans
• Prepare schematics and perform PCB layout
• Select components and manage alternates
• Prepare BOMs
• Perform bring-up and troubleshooting
• Analyse power budgets and battery/solar options
• Manage hardware revisions Required Skills & Qualifications
• Electronics engineering degree
• Robust analog/digital fundamentals
• Arm MCU experience
• Experience with Cadence Allegro PCB tools
• Hardware debugging proficiency Preferred / Desirable Qualifications
• Experience with SAM V71
• Basic microcontroller C knowledge
• Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet, RS232/RS485 Experience Requirements
• Embedded circuit design
• Cadence Allegro EDA tools
• Arm MCU hardware ecosystem
