Role Description The Solar Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Jodhpur, responsible for installing, commissioning, and maintaining solar rooftop PV systems for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Daily tasks include site assessments, mounting and wiring solar panels, connecting inverters and other system components, and performing routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. The role requires diagnosing and resolving technical issues, conducting performance tests, and documenting maintenance activities and service reports. The Solar Technician will collaborate with project engineers and customer service teams to support project execution, educate customers on system operation,



and ensure smooth handover after installation. The position involves working outdoors, adhering to safety protocols, and following industry best practices and company procedures. Qualifications
• Robust knowledge of solar systems and solar power, including rooftop PV installations and related components.
• Understanding of the solar industry and power generation principles, particularly within Indian market conditions.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in solar installations and perform systematic root-cause analysis.
• Basic to intermediate electrical skills, including wiring, use of diagnostic tools (multimeters, insulation testers), and reading technical diagrams.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in electrical, electronics, renewable energy, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Familiarity with safety standards, local regulations, and best practices for working at heights and with electrical systems.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a field team.
• Willingness to work in outdoor conditions, travel to client sites as needed, and maintain a customer-focused approach.
