Role Description The Sr. Manager R&D; – Lighting will lead the research and development function for lighting products at Calcom Vision Limited. This full time, on-site role is based in Ghaziabad and involves overseeing end-to-end product development for LED and traditional lighting solutions, from concept and prototyping through testing and validation. The role includes managing R&D; projects, coordinating cross-functional activities with design, production, quality, and procurement teams, and ensuring products meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards. The Sr. Manager will guide the R&D; team, allocate resources, monitor timelines and budgets, and drive continuous improvement in designs, processes, and technologies. The position also requires staying current with industry trends, emerging technologies,



and customer requirements to support a competitive and innovative product portfolio. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Research and Development (R&D;) and Research skills focused on lighting electronics, LED technologies, and related components.
• Candidates should possess robust Team Management and Team Leadership skills to mentor, develop, and coordinate multidisciplinary R&D; teams.
• Candidates should possess effective Project Management skills to plan, execute, and track multiple development projects within defined timelines and budgets.
• Solid understanding of lighting design principles, electronic circuits, LED drivers, thermal management, and reliability testing.
• Experience in industrial or consumer lighting product development, preferably within an OEM/ODM or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in using relevant engineering and design tools, testing equipment, and documentation systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and quality standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation, stakeholder coordination, and reporting.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Lighting Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Familiarity with national and international lighting standards, safety regulations, and certification requirements is highly beneficial.
