10–15 Years Function: Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Employment: Full-time Reports To: COO / CEO Career Path: Head – Procurement V2 Retail Ltd. is expanding its procurement leadership team and looking for a strong Senior Manager / AGM – Procurement & Strategic Sourcing to build and drive procurement across Merchandise & Non-Merchandise categories. This is a high-impact, build-and-grow leadership opportunity for a procurement professional who can deliver measurable savings, strengthen vendor partnerships and build a scalable procurement function.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute procurement strategy across merchandise and non-merchandise categories
• Drive strategic sourcing, category planning, annual rate contracts and cost optimisation
• Lead high-value commercial negotiations, should-costing, benchmarking and value engineering
• Build, develop and diversify the vendor network across key Indian manufacturing clusters
• Develop alternate/backup vendors for critical categories
• Reduce PO-to-warehouse lead time and improve vendor OTIF performance
• Partner with Buying, Design, Finance and Operations on target costing and margin improvement
• Establish procurement governance including RFQ, e-auction, contracts, DOA and spend analytics
• Drive ERP/P2P discipline and monthly procurement MIS




• Build and lead a strong procurement team aligned with V2 Retail’s growth and store-opening pipeline WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR 10–15 years of experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing 3+ years of team management or ownership of a multi-category portfolio Strong experience in direct and/or indirect procurement Proven track record of negotiated savings and lead-time reduction Strong vendor network across Indian manufacturing clusters Expertise in commercial negotiations, costing and vendor development Advanced Excel; Power BI exposure is an advantage Working knowledge of SAP MM / Oracle / Ariba / Coupa / equivalent ERP/P2P systems Strong contract management and vendor governance skills MBA / Engineering background preferred; CPSM/CIPS is an advantage Willingness to travel approximately 25% to vendor/manufacturing clusters PREFERRED INDUSTRIES Value/Fashion Retail | Hypermarket | Grocery | QSR | E-commerce Private Label | FMCG | Consumer Durables Experience in apparel, lifestyle or general-merchandise sourcing will be an added advantage.
