Hubli Role Description
· Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs;, OEM manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul cranes, CNC machines, generators (100-500KVA), gearboxes, hydraulic cylinders, conveyor systems, welding equipment, fork lifts and press brakes.
· ​Conduct inspections using precision tools like micrometers, dial indicators, torque wrenches, feeler gauges, vibration analyzers, and laser aligners; perform alignments, bearing replacements, belt adjustments, welding repairs, press brake tooling maintenance, and part fabrications.
· ​Execute preventive maintenance schedules, follow lockout/tagout,



PPE protocols, 5S practices, and report hazards; coordinate with production teams for breakdowns. ​Carry out welding and fabrication tasks (MIG/TIG/arc), hydraulic/pneumatic repairs, press brake hydraulic system overhauls, and emergency fixes during 24/7 shifts; ensure safe practices for working at heights, confined spaces, and heavy lifting (25-50kg). Qualifications
· ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Fitter, or equivalent with 2-5 years in manufacturing maintenance preferably conveyors manufacturing industry, CNC machines , cranes, fork lifts,generators, welding, and press brakes.
· ​Proficiency in mechanical tools, hydraulic systems, welding techniques, press brake repairs, reading drawings/P&IDs;, predictive maintenance, and safety standards; crane operator license preferred.
· ​Physically fit for prolonged standing, climbing, heavy lifting, shift rotations, overtime, and emergency call-outs; multilingual skills
