Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, responsible for managing and growing VisionX Study Abroad’s digital presence across key social platforms. This role involves planning and executing social media campaigns, creating engaging content tailored to students and parents, and optimizing posts for reach and engagement. The Social Media Manager will handle daily publishing, respond to messages and comments, monitor trends,



and manage community interactions to build a strong online brand. The role also includes analyzing performance metrics, refining content strategies, collaborating with admissions and counseling teams for promotional initiatives, and maintaining a consistent, qualified brand voice across all channels. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across platforms.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Writing skills to craft clear, engaging content and interact effectively with the online community.
• Candidates should possess Content Strategy skills to design audience-focused plans, align messaging with brand goals, and support lead generation.
• Experience with analytics tools, social media scheduling platforms, and basic graphic or video content creation is beneficial.
• Prior experience in education, study abroad, or student-focused services is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Chennai, manage multiple campaigns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
