Role Description This full-time Hydraulic Design Engineer role is an on-site position based in Navi Mumbai. The Hydraulic Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing hydraulic systems and components used in energy applications, ensuring performance, safety, and reliability requirements are met. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing engineering drawings, models, and specifications; performing design calculations and simulations; and collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and product engineering teams to integrate hydraulic solutions into larger systems. The role also involves supporting prototype builds and testing, resolving design issues, preparing technical documentation, and contributing to continuous improvement of design standards and processes.



The engineer will work closely with manufacturing, quality, and project management to ensure timely delivery of engineered solutions that meet customer and regulatory requirements. Qualifications
• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with experience applying engineering principles to hydraulic systems.
• Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling and detailed drafting of hydraulic components and assemblies.
• Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts relevant to hydraulic system controls, sensors, and integrated electro-hydraulic systems.
• Experience in Product Design, including concept development, design for manufacturability, and lifecycle considerations for industrial equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline; advanced degree or specialized coursework in hydraulics is an advantage.
• Knowledge of industry standards, safety guidelines, and applicable codes for hydraulic and pressure-containing equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, perform engineering analyses, and document findings clearly and accurately.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and project teams.
• Experience in the energy, oil and gas, or heavy industrial sector is preferred, along with familiarity with offshore or subsea applications.
• Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and readiness to work on-site in Navi Mumbai in a rapid-paced engineering environment.
