Bengaluru, India Employment Type: Full time We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, accounting processes, vendor payments, client collections, taxation, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge and a good understanding of the travel, tourism, and MICE industry, including travel-related transactions, event project costing, and vendor settlements. Key Roles and Responsibilities 1. Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts, ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. 2. Client Billing & Receivables
- Ensure timely preparation and submission of client invoices. -Track outstanding payments and follow up with clients for collections.
- Reconcile client accounts and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Monitor payment terms, credit limits, and overdue receivables. 3. Vendor Payments & Reconciliation
- Manage payments to hotels, airlines, transport operators, event vendors, and other service providers.
- Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders, agreements, and approved event budgets.
- Ensure payments are processed within agreed credit terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding issues. 4. Travel & MICE Project Accounting
- Maintain project-wise accounting for corporate travel, conferences, exhibitions, incentive tours, and corporate events.
- Track event budgets, actual expenses, advances, and final settlements.
- Prepare project-wise profitability and gross margin reports.




- Reconcile airline bookings, hotel rooming lists, transportation, and other event-related expenses against invoices.
- Ensure all project expenses are recorded and billed accurately. 5. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Oversee GST compliance, including applicable invoicing, input tax credit reconciliation, and GST returns in coordination with the tax team.
- Ensure timely TDS deductions, payments, and return filings, as applicable.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and other external agencies.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements. 6. Financial Reporting & Budget Control
- Prepare monthly MIS reports covering revenue, expenses, receivables, payables, cash flow, and profitability.
- Monitor project budgets and highlight cost overruns or margin deviations.
- Support management with financial analysis and business performance reports.
- Establish internal controls to minimize financial risks and errors. 7. Team & Process Management
- Supervise the accounts team and allocate responsibilities.
- Standardize accounting procedures and documentation.
- Ensure timely closure of monthly accounts.
- Coordinate with sales, operations, travel desk, procurement, and management teams. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA Inter, CMA, or MBA Finance is an advantage. 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in travel, tourism, hospitality, or MICE. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and accounting principles. Advanced working knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting. High attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to meet financial deadlines. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Timely submission of client invoices and vendor settlements. Reduction in overdue client receivables. Accuracy of books of accounts and bank reconciliations. Timely GST and TDS compliance. Timely monthly financial closures and MIS reporting.
