Role: Azure Data Engineer
- Freelancer Level: Senior Consultant Freelance Cooperation – What Does It Mean?
• Open-ended freelance agreement. An active sole proprietorship (B2B) is required throughout the duration of the agreement.
• Part time engagement. Work up to 50% of full-time workload, depending on current project needs.
• Flexibility that fits your schedule. We’ll reach out whenever a suitable project opportunity comes up. If you’re available and interested, you can choose to join the project. If the timing isn’t right, you’re always free to decline without terminating the agreement.
• No need to worry about the equipment. Freelancers typically work using equipment provided by us. Depending on the project, you may receive access to a virtual machine instead. Technical Requirement:
• Programming: Python, PySpark, SQL
• ETL & Integration: Databricks (Mandatory), AecorSoft/DataSphere,
• Data Warehousing: SCD Types, Fact & Dimensions, Star Schema, ETL
• Data Modeling: Erwin (Optional)
• Medallion Architecture: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum
• Azure Cloud Services: Azure Databricks, Data Factory, Data Lake, Azure SQL.
• GenAI exposure: Genie/Kiro/Gemini etc.
• Supporting Technologies: Databricks Jobs, Airflow
• Visualization (Optional): PowerBI (Optional), GenBI (Optional)
• Nice to have:



Exposure on AWS services ( AWS Cloud Services: S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena) Role &

Responsibilities:
• Design and Build: Develop and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based data solutions.
• Manage Data Pipelines: Develop and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses or data lakes.
• Ensure Data Quality: Implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Optimize Data Storage: Ensure efficient data storage and retrieval for optimal performance.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with data architects, data modelers, product owners, and stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
• Team Lead: Create & lead a team of data engineers (external/internal) to ensure timely deliverables fulfilling all data engineering guidelines & standards. Why join us:
