• Manage the day-to-day functioning of the school library.
• Maintain and organize books, periodicals, and other learning resources.
• Assist students and teachers in locating appropriate books and resources.
• Maintain records of book issues, returns, and new acquisitions.
• Encourage students to develop regular reading habits.
• Ensure the library is clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Support library activities, reading programmes, and book-related events.
• Monitor proper use and care of library resources. Requirements
• Graduate degree in Library Science / Information Science preferred.
• Prior experience in a school library is an advantage.
• Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working with children and school staff.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with library management systems.
• Organized, responsible, and approachable.
• Ability to work independently during part-time hours.
