We are looking for a writer who enjoys researching topics in depth and can develop comprehensive, informative, and engaging content.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to take a broad topic, identify the questions that matter to the reader, conduct credible research, organise the information logically, and produce a polished long-form article.

This role is best suited for someone whose strengths lie in long-form writing, research-driven articles, website content, and SEO-led blogs, rather than someone whose experience is limited primarily to social media captions, short-form copy, or promotional content.

Key Responsibilities

1. Long-Form Content Creation

- Research, write, and edit high-quality long-form articles, blogs, educational guides, and informative website content.
- Develop comprehensive articles on topics related to education, professional certifications, career development, industry trends, and other relevant subject areas.
- Break down complex concepts into clear, engaging, and easy-to-understand content for the target audience.
- Create well-researched content supported by credible sources, relevant data, examples, and industry insights.
- Develop structured outlines and organise content using appropriate headings, subheadings, and logical content flow.
- Ensure every piece of content delivers meaningful value to readers and aligns with the intended purpose of the topic.
- Maintain consistency in tone, language, accuracy, and editorial quality across all published content.

2. SEO Content Writing

- Write SEO-optimised blogs, articles, website pages, and educational resources to support organic traffic growth.
- Conduct keyword research and understand search intent to develop content that addresses relevant audience queries.
- Incorporate primary and secondary keywords naturally into titles, headings, body content, and meta descriptions.
- Apply on-page SEO best practices, including content structure, internal linking, descriptive headings, and readability optimisation.
- Collaborate with SEO specialists to identify content opportunities, keyword gaps,



and topics with strong organic search potential.
- Update and optimise existing blogs and website content to improve relevance, accuracy, and search performance.
- Balance search optimisation with informative, original, reader-first writing.

3. Website Content & Educational Articles

- Develop informative website content that communicates the value of programmes, certifications, learning pathways, and educational offerings.
- Write detailed articles addressing audience questions about career options, professional qualifications, eligibility, industry requirements, and learning opportunities.
- Translate subject-matter information into explicit content that helps prospective learners make informed decisions.
- Ensure website content is accurate, well-structured, consistent with brand guidelines, and aligned with the needs of the intended audience.
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather information and validate technical or subject-specific details before publication.

4. Research & Content Development

- Conduct in-depth research using credible publications, industry reports, official websites, and other reliable sources.
- Identify relevant topics, emerging trends, audience questions, and content gaps to develop valuable editorial ideas.
- Verify facts, statistics, and claims before incorporating them into published content.
- Add original insights and meaningful context instead of simply rewriting information available online.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts and internal teams to develop accurate, authoritative, and insightful articles.
- Maintain high standards of originality, factual accuracy, grammar, and editorial consistency.

5. Content Planning & Collaboration

- Work with the SEO and marketing teams to develop content ideas,



editorial calendars, and topic clusters.
- Ensure content supports broader marketing objectives, audience education, organic visibility, and brand positioning.
- Incorporate feedback from editors and stakeholders while maintaining the quality and integrity of the content.
- Manage multiple content assignments and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.
- Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats, such as newsletters, social media posts, and marketing content, when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Excellent written English, with strong grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, and editing skills.
- Demonstrated experience in writing long-form articles, detailed blogs, website content, or research-intensive editorial pieces.
- Strong research and information-synthesis skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Working knowledge of SEO content writing, keyword research, search intent, and on-page optimisation.
- Ability to structure lengthy articles with clear headings, logical flow, and engaging introductions and conclusions.
- Robust attention to detail, factual accuracy, originality, and readability.
- Ability to adapt writing style to different audiences while maintaining a professional and informative tone.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience writing for EdTech, education, professional certifications, career development, or other knowledge-intensive industries.
- Experience producing detailed articles, educational resources, pillar pages, comprehensive guides, and SEO-focused blog content.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress.
- Understanding of internal linking, topic clusters, content briefs, and content refresh strategies.
- Experience using AI-assisted writing or research tools responsibly, with strong human oversight, fact-checking, and editorial review.
