As a Backend Engineer at QTrino Labs Limited , you will work on developing scalable SaaS APIs, designing productive database schemas, implementing core backend functionalities, and ensuring service reliability. You will collaborate with frontend engineers and product teams to deliver secure, robust, and production-ready features while gaining hands-on exposure to modern cloud-native infrastructure.

Role & responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Node.js, Python.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Assist in database design and management using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Write and optimize basic SQL queries.
- Implement basic authentication and authorization features.
- Assist in developing secure and scalable backend applications.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Write unit tests and perform basic debugging.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and team members.




- Assist with Docker-based deployments and basic DevOps tasks.
- Maintain technical documentation and support application performance improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

- Academic Background: B.Tech/B.E./M.Tech graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related technical disciplines.
- Batch Eligibility: 2025 or 2026 graduating batch with strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.

Core Technical Skills

- Backend Development: Basic knowledge of Node.js/JavaScript, Python, or Go with experience building backend projects, REST APIs, or SaaS applications.
- Database Management: Solid understanding of schema design, database indexing, and query optimization.
- API Security: Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and secure API development practices.
