Job Description

Hands-on hardware engineer responsible for designing, validating, and industrializing power-electronics subsystems for residential and light-commercial solar energy storage products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design inverter, bidirectional DC-DC, auxiliary power, sensing, isolation, gate-drive, and protection circuits.
- Perform schematic design, calculations, simulation, component selection, derating, worst-case, SOA, loss, and thermal analysis.
- Support PCB layout for high-power, high-voltage, isolation, creepage/clearance, signal integrity, and EMC requirements.
- Own hands-on debug of critical hardware issues during board bring-up and system integration; perform structured RCA, implement corrective actions, and verify closure.
- Create design documentation and support design reviews, DFMEA, DFM/DFA/DFT, prototype builds, certification, and production launch.

Collaborate with systems, firmware, mechanical, validation, compliance, quality, sourcing, suppliers, and manufacturing teams.
