About the Role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Manager to lead the design coordination, execution, testing, commissioning, and handover of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV systems for fit-out projects.

The candidate will ensure adherence to approved drawings, quality standards, safety requirements, budgets, and project timelines while coordinating with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.

Key Requirement: Willingness to travel extensively across India and stay at project sites for approximately 20–45 days, depending on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- MEP Design Coordination: Coordinate with MEP consultants, architects, and structural engineers; review designs, GFC drawings, load calculations, and technical specifications; identify design clashes and implement value engineering measures.
- Project Execution: Manage day-to-day execution of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, and ELV systems as per approved drawings, BOQs, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
- Site Supervision: Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site teams; coordinate MEP works with civil, interior, and architectural activities to prevent clashes, delays, and rework.
- Electrical and HVAC Systems: Oversee electrical distribution, panels, cabling, lighting, earthing, HVAC equipment, ducting, piping, and associated installation, testing,



and commissioning activities.
- Plumbing and Fire Fighting: Supervise water supply, drainage, sanitary installations, fire-fighting piping, hydrants, sprinklers, pressure testing, and commissioning.
- Fire Alarm and ELV Systems: Coordinate fire alarm, CCTV, access control, networking, PA/BGM, and other ELV installations.
- Quality, Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with applicable Indian Standards, NBC, fire safety regulations, approved specifications, and site safety procedures. Conduct inspections and ensure timely closure of defects and snags.
- Planning and Cost Control: Monitor project schedules, material requirements, contractor progress, BOQs, quantities, and billing. Prepare progress reports and maintain as-built drawings, commissioning records, and project documentation.

Required Skills & Experience

- Minimum 10 years of relevant MEP design and execution experience, preferably in commercial, retail, hospitality, entertainment, or fit-out projects.
- Client-side or Project Management Consultancy (PMC) experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, multimedia, and ELV systems.
- Experience managing design consultants, contractors, vendors, and multiple site agencies.
- Ability to interpret MEP drawings, shop drawings, SLDs, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Understanding of quantity verification, cost control, and contractor billing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, communication, and reporting skills.
- Ability to independently manage site execution and travel across India for extended project assignments.
