About the Role

We are looking for a agile and target-driven Team Lead Field Sales to drive business growth, merchant acquisition, and market expansion across the assigned territory. The ideal candidate should have experience in field sales, team management, and business development, preferably in fintech, digital payments, banking, or FMCG.

Key Responsibilities

- Drive territory-level business growth, revenue generation, and market share expansion.
- Acquire and onboard merchants for digital payment solutions, including QR codes, Soundbox, and EDC/POS devices.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Field Sales Executives (FSEs).
- Set sales targets, monitor performance, and ensure achievement of business objectives.
- Develop territory plans, identify business opportunities, and improve market coverage.
- Drive product visibility, deployment, merchant activation, and transaction growth.
- Conduct regular field visits, performance reviews, and audits to ensure sales quality and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with merchants, distributors, and local stakeholders.




- Monitor team productivity, market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
- Communicate business plans, targets, and performance expectations effectively to the team.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory to support field operations and business growth.

Desired Candidate Profile

- 3–8 years of experience in field sales, sales acquisition, or business development.
- Prior experience in handling and managing a field sales team is preferred.
- Experience in fintech, digital payments, QR/Soundbox, EDC/POS, banking, telecom, or FMCG sales will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of merchant acquisition, territory management, and target-driven sales.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to manage field operations, drive team productivity, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geography.
