About the Role:

RV Teachers College is seeking a creative and strategically minded Content & Copy Writer to develop compelling communication concepts, campaign narratives and brand stories. The role involves translating institutional objectives into impactful campaigns and guiding creative execution in collaboration with designers, digital media teams, photographers, videographers and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Campaign Ideation & Creative Direction

- Conceptualize campaigns for admissions, branding, academics, alumni, events and social media.
- Develop campaign themes, narratives, taglines, storylines and creative briefs.
- Guide creative teams from concept development to final execution, ensuring alignment with campaign objectives.

2. Content Development & Copywriting

- Write engaging copy for social media, digital advertisements, websites, brochures, newsletters, emailers, posters and institutional publications.
- Develop headlines, campaign lines, calls to action, video scripts and storyboards.
- Edit, proofread and adapt content to suit different audiences, platforms and communication objectives.

3. Brand & Institutional Communication

- Maintain consistency in brand messaging, tone of voice and institutional communication standards.
- Translate academic information, institutional achievements and initiatives into clear, engaging and audience-focused content.




- Research emerging trends in education, branding, digital media and communication.

4. Alumni Storytelling & Team Coordination

- Develop stories highlighting alumni achievements, student journeys, faculty accomplishments and institutional milestones.
- Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to execute campaigns within defined timelines.
- Provide creative feedback, support brainstorming and guide junior team members where required.

Required Skills

- Strong conceptual thinking, campaign ideation, storytelling and copywriting skills.
- Ability to translate briefs into integrated creative campaigns.
- Understanding of branding, advertising, social media and visual communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, editing and proofreading skills.
- Solid coordination, presentation, time management and stakeholder management abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Advertising, Media Studies, Marketing, Literature or a related discipline.
- Experience: Prior experience in content writing, copywriting, branding, communications or campaign development.
- Experience in an educational institution, creative agency, media organisation or in-house communication team is preferred.
- A portfolio demonstrating campaign concepts, copywriting, scripts or brand communication is desirable.
