Medical Representative ( MR )

- Department: Sales & Marketing
- Primary Objective: To introduce, explain, and promote pharmaceutical products to doctors and healthcare facilities to increase prescription rates and meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Doctor & Healthcare Provider Engagement

- Conduct regular visits: Meet with doctors, consultants, and specialists in clinics, hospitals, and medical centers to pitch company products.
- Deliver scientific presentations: Present clinical data, drug efficacy, side effects, and benefits clearly to medical professionals.
- Distribute samples and literature: Provide drug samples, product brochures, and clinical trial results to doctors.

Sales & Market Development

- Achieve sales targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly product prescription targets within an assigned territory.
- Manage commercial relationships: Coordinate with local retail chemists, pharmacists, and stockists to ensure the company's medicines are stocked and readily available.
- Identify recent business: Discover new clinics, hospitals, or pharmacies to expand market reach.





Market Intelligence & Reporting

- Submit daily/weekly reports: Log call reports, doctor feedback, and sales achievements into the company's CRM software.
- Resolve product queries: Handle complaints or feedback from doctors regarding drug availability or side effects, routing them to the medical affairs team if necessary.

Qualifications & Skills Required

Education - B.Sc,M.Sc,B.Pharm or any science graduate
Experience - 1-3 years, Freshers can also apply.

- Scientific Aptitude: Ability to learn and discuss complex medical terminology, pharmacology, and clinical data.
- Persuasive Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to confidently influence busy medical professionals.
- Territory Management: Strong planning skills to map out route plans, prioritize high-value doctors, and travel extensively daily.
- Resilience & Persistance: High motivation to handle rejection, cold-calling, and target-driven pressures.
