Role & responsibilities

- Project Management - Work with the Program Manager / SME to Plan, Execute, Monitor and Control the Project, Review of Test Scenarios & Test Cases, Plan for Work Allocation across teams
- Drive the System Integration Testing (Functional & Regression), Automation & Performance strategy for OSS/BSS transformation, including scope, approach, environments, test data, entry/exit criteria, defect management, regression strategy, and risk mitigation aligned to microservices and CI/CD pipelines. Supporting the business users team for the UAT sign offs
- Microservices & Integration Validation - Lead testing across APIbased integrations, eventdriven architectures, asynchronous flows, ensuring correctness of endtoend business processes / journeys
- Stakeholder Management - Interactions with the customer and their partners – requirements, defects, clarifications, etc.
- Automation Strategy & Governance - work closely with the Automation Lead to define and govern the Automation Testing strategy, focusing on servicelevel/API automation, drive prioritization of regression packs.
- Performance & NonFunctional Coordination - Oversee and coordinate Performance Testing activities (with performance specialists), ensuring workload modelling, and closure of performance defects before signoff.
- Defect Management & Quality Governance - Defect triages, prioritization, SLA adherence, RCA tracking, and escalation management, working closely with development, and release teams.
- Stakeholder & Client Management - Support Test Manager / Program Manager in Risk identification and management, provide test status, quality dashboards, risk assessments, and provide relevant data points for a go / nogo recommendation




- Test Team Leadership & Capability Building - Manage and mentor Functional, Automation, and Performance testers; ensure skill alignment with OSS/BSS domains, tools, and best practices in quality assurance / engineering
- AI / GenAI Enablement in Testing - Drive adoption of AI / GenAI to optimize test execution and improve efficiencies
- Compliance to Delivery & Release Milestones - Ensure SIT execution aligns with program milestones, release calendars, and transformation phases without impacting BAU or parallel releases.

Preferred candidate profile

EXPERIENCE

- 6-8 years of experience in Software Testing, with at least 4 years in a Test Lead role
- Strong Telecom OSS/BSS domain experience (OSS/BSS, Billing, CRM, Order Management, Inventory Management, etc.), especially in largescale transformation or modernization programs (demonstrated through Work Experience and/or Certification)
- Proven experience in System Integration Testing (SIT) & End-to-End (E2E) testing across multiple applications and vendors
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, APIs (REST), message queues, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge on AI / Generative AI concepts, principles, tools, LLM models
- Experience with test management and defect management tools - JIRA, ALM/Octane.
- Hands on experience in leading / implementing at least 3+ mid-size Automation projects
- Hands-on experience in leading teams for Indian and/or International Clients in Telecom sector
- Experience in managing Agile and Waterfall projects
- Valuable knowledge / experience in Performance Testing / Engineering
- Strong communication skills, managing stakeholder expectations, perception management, reporting skills
