Position: Female Volleyball Coach

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Volleyball Coach to train and mentor female students, develop their volleyball skills, and prepare teams for inter-university, state-level, and national-level competitions. The candidate should have strong technical knowledge, coaching abilities, and a commitment to promoting sportsmanship, fitness, and discipline among students.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plan and conduct regular volleyball coaching sessions for female students.
2. Develop training programmes to improve players technical skills, physical fitness, agility, coordination, and game strategy.
3. Identify talented students and prepare university teams for inter-university, state-level, and national-level tournaments.
4. Conduct fitness assessments, monitor player performance, and provide individual guidance for improvement.
5. Organise practice matches, selection trials, and intra-university volleyball competitions.
6. Ensure the proper use, maintenance, and safety of volleyball equipment and sports facilities.
7. Maintain records of attendance, training schedules, player performance, and tournament participation.
8. Promote discipline, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship among students.
9. Coordinate with the Sports Department and university administration regarding sports activities, competitions, and team requirements.
10. Ensure the safety, well-being, and appropriate supervision of female students during training sessions and tournaments.

Accompany and supervise university teams during competitions and official sports events, as required.
12. Perform other sports-related duties assigned by the university administration.

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed.) or a relevant sports-related qualification.
- Certification in volleyball coaching from a recognised sports authority or federation will be preferred.

Experience

- Prior experience in volleyball coaching, preferably in a school, college, university, sports academy, or recognised sports institution.
- Experience in preparing teams for competitive tournaments will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in university-level or state/national-level volleyball competitions will be preferred.

A physically fit, disciplined, and enthusiastic professional with a passion for volleyball coaching and experience in training female students. The candidate should be willing to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and during tournaments, as required.
