Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Cinematographer with a strong interest in visual storytelling, camera operations and lighting. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of shooting techniques and a keen eye for aesthetics, composition and detail.

You will work closely with the creative, content and marketing teams to shoot engaging product videos, campaign creatives, short-form videos and brand content for digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Video Shooting: Shoot high-quality videos for product campaigns, digital advertisements, social media content and brand films.
- Product Cinematography: Capture visually appealing shots of perfumes, skincare and personal care products, focusing on textures, packaging, lighting and product details.
- Camera & Lighting Setup: Assist with camera operations, lens selection, lighting arrangements and equipment setup during shoots.
- Creative Execution:



Collaborate with the creative and content teams to execute visual concepts, shot lists and storyboards.
- Studio & On-location Shoots: Support indoor studio shoots as well as outdoor and on-location productions.
- Content for Digital Platforms: Shoot content suitable for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, paid advertisements and other digital marketing platforms.
- Visual Quality: Ensure proper framing, composition, focus, exposure and consistency across all shoots.
- Post-production Coordination: Work with video editors to ensure smooth footage handovers and alignment with the final creative vision.
- Equipment Management: Handle cameras, lenses, lighting equipment and accessories responsibly.

Requirements

- Basic understanding of cameras, lenses, lighting techniques, exposure, framing and composition.
- Familiarity with DSLR or mirrorless cameras and basic shooting equipment.
- A solid interest in product cinematography, beauty, fragrance, fashion or lifestyle content.
- Basic understanding of video formats and aspect ratios for social media platforms.
- Ability to understand creative briefs and translate ideas into effective visuals.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating shooting skills is preferred.
- Willingness to learn, experiment with new techniques and work in a fast-paced creative environment.
