Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Synthetic Chemist to join our Synthesis Department. The incumbent will be responsible for the synthesis, purification, characterization, and scale-up of novel compounds, intermediates, and APIs. The role requires strong knowledge of organic chemistry, name reactions, analytical data interpretation, and laboratory documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute multi-step organic synthesis of intermediates, impurities, novel compounds, and APIs.
- Perform reaction screening, process optimization, and scale-up activities.
- Carry out compound purification using column chromatography, recrystallization, and other purification techniques.
- Design and execute synthetic routes based on literature and project requirements.
- Conduct literature searches to support route scouting, process development, and troubleshooting.
- Interpret analytical data including LC-MS, NMR, IR, and other spectroscopic techniques.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of experimental procedures, observations, and results.
- Prepare technical reports, batch records, SOPs, and project documentation.
- Analyze critical reaction parameters and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Adhere to laboratory safety, quality, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution and successful delivery.





Educational Qualification

- Ph.D. in Chemistry OR
- M.Sc. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry OR
- M.Pharm.
