A Civil Quality Engineer in Wind Energy is responsible for ensuring the quality, compliance, and integrity of all civil construction activities, materials, and infrastructure associated with wind energy projects to support protected, reliable, and efficient project execution.

Responsibilities

- Quality Assurance Quality Control (QA/QC)
- Develop and implement project quality plans and inspection procedures.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, construction drawings, and applicable standards.
- Monitor quality performance throughout the project lifecycle.

- Civil Construction Inspection

- Inspect wind turbine foundations, anchor cages, and reinforcement works.
- Verify excavation, backfilling, compaction, and grading activities.
- Check concrete works, including batching, pouring, curing, and testing.
- Inspect access roads, crane pads, drainage systems, and site infrastructure.

- Material Quality Control

- Review and approve material test certificates.
- Coordinate testing of concrete, soil, aggregates, steel reinforcement, and other construction materials.




- Ensure materials meet project and regulatory requirements.

- Documentation Reporting

- Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and test results.
- Prepare Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) when quality issues arise.
- Track corrective and preventive actions.
- Compile quality dossiers and handover documentation.

Experience

- Minimum 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Education

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
- Additional certifications in Quality Management, QA/QC, or Construction Quality Control are preferred.
- Knowledge of construction standards, quality systems, and civil engineering practices.
