Role & responsibilities

1. Ensure strict adherence to cGMP requirements at all stages of manufacturing.
2. Maintain cleanliness, discipline, and a controlled environment in the work area.
3. Verify that all containers bear proper status labels, and check/tally quantities against the BMR before compression.
4. Carry out and record manufacturing activities in accordance with the BMR and logbooks.
5. Supervise and implement systems to prevent batch mix-ups and cross-contamination.
6. Take appropriate actions to safeguard both product quality and personnel safety.
7. Execute duties assigned by superiors as required.
8. Assume overall responsibility for batch manufacturing activities.
9. Perform additional responsibilities as entrusted by the HOD.
10. Work in shifts, specifically overseeing compression operations.
11. Ensure yields are achieved within BMR limits.
12. To follow the procedures of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 22000:2018 and record daily entries.
13. Handle, issue,



and retrieve punches and dies with accountability and proper documentation.
14. Ensure timely and accurate online ERP entries for batch and equipment records.
15. Conduct proper shift handovers to the next chemist/supervisor, communicating batch status, equipment condition, deviations, and pending activities.
16. Provide training and guidance to operators and workmen to strengthen GMP awareness.
17. To Raise complaint form and inform QA or Engineering right away if you notice any problems, equipment breakdowns, or unusual issues, so that Engineering can fix them quickly and QA to record the action taken.

Preferred candidate profile

Education- B.Pharmacy/M.Pharmacy

Experience- 1 to 3 Years (Pharmaceutical Industry)
