We are looking for an experienced development-sector qualified to lead initiatives focused on sustainable non-farm livelihood enhancement, youth employability, and skill development across urban and rural India.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop implementation plans for sustainable non-farm livelihood promotion.
- Identify successful livelihood models and best practices across states and develop strategies to scale them.
- Assess gaps and challenges affecting youth employability and identify opportunities for skill development.
- Build and strengthen partnerships with government bodies, educational institutions, vocational training institutes, and other stakeholders.
- Develop stakeholder linkages to support financial inclusion, capacity building, market access, and income enhancement.
- Lead end-to-end project management of skilling and livelihood initiatives.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely and accurate program reporting.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in the development sector.
- Demonstrated experience in livelihood promotion, enterprise development, and skill development.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, including engagement with government bodies, educational institutions, and vocational training institutes.
- Experience working in diverse, multicultural environments.
- Strong research, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Educational background in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Social Work, or Management. Candidates from other disciplines may be considered based on relevant experience.
