Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines as per valid prescriptions and hospital policies.
- Verify prescriptions and coordinate with doctors and nursing staff in case of discrepancies.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines and medical supplies.
- Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and storage conditions of medicines.
- Maintain proper records of medicine receipts, issues, and returns.
- Ensure appropriate storage and handling of medicines as per applicable guidelines.
- Support inventory management and stock reconciliation.
- Follow hospital policies, patient safety standards, and pharmacy procedures.
- Provide basic medication-related guidance to patients as permitted by applicable regulations.

Educational Qualification

- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid State Pharmacy Council registration is required, as applicable to the role.
