Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Perform cold and hot commissioning activities, loop checking, signal testing, and equipment interlock verifications for thermal power plant subsystems.
- Execute performance guarantee (PG) tests, trial runs, and functional verification of auxiliary machinery, pumps, control valves, and electrical systems.
- Prepare and maintain commissioning checklists, test reports, snag lists, and site handover documentation in coordination with project managers and client engineers.
- Monitor daily operational parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rate, vibration, and heat heat rates) of thermal power units to ensure optimal plant efficiency.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, or C&I; (Control & Instrumentation) faults to minimize plant downtime.
- Carry out preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance programs according to equipment manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strictly enforce Plant Safety Rules,



Permit to Work (PTW) systems, Isolation/Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and EHS (Workplace, Health & Safety) guidelines during all site operations.
- Coordinate daily site schedules with main contractors, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), site supervisors, and client representatives.
