Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand material, product, and service requirements and ensure procurement plans align with business needs.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop new suppliers; maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and strategic vendors.
- Obtain and compare supplier quotations, proposals, specifications, and delivery schedules to determine the best overall value.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and other commercial conditions to achieve cost savings without compromising quality or service.
- Monitor market trends, material availability, and supplier performance to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Assess total procurement costs and identify opportunities to optimize spend and improve purchasing efficiency.
- Review purchase and contract specifications to ensure requirements are clear, accurate, and aligned with company needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure materials are delivered on time and in accordance with agreed specifications.
- Develop and implement procurement,



storage, distribution, and inventory practices to maintain appropriate stock levels and reduce supply risks.
- Use and maintain procurement, shipment, and inventory tracking systems to monitor material movement and availability.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, strengthen organizational capabilities, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports, including relevant updates on purchasing, supplier performance, and material status.
- Provide procurement updates and reports to management and escalate supply, quality, or delivery issues as required.

Preferred Experience

Experience in sourcing or purchasing machined, forged, and cast metal components is preferred.
