Key ResponsibilitiesTesting & Analysis

- Perform routine chemical and physical analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Utilize standard laboratory equipment including pH meters, titrators, viscometers, density meters, and basic spectrophotometers.
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and standards required for daily testing.

Documentation & Compliance

- Record all test results, observations, and calculations accurately in laboratory notebooks or the LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).
- Issue basic pass/fail data reports to production supervisors based on established quality control thresholds.
- Maintain complete compliance with ISO 9001, GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), and company quality frameworks.

Lab Upkeep & Safety

- Clean, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on standard laboratory instrumentation.
- Monitor laboratory chemical inventory and proactively report low stock levels.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA standards,



handling hazardous chemicals, waste disposal protocols, and PPE requirements flawlessly.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related scientific discipline.
- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience working in an industrial chemical, manufacturing, or commercial testing laboratory
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with basic volumetric glassware, titration techniques, and standard chemical safety protocols (SDS interpretation).
- Software: Solid familiarity with MS Excel for data entry; prior experience with a LIMS platform is highly advantageous.
- Traits: Robust attention to detail, excellent organizational habits, and the ability to work safely under minimal supervision after initial training.
