Key Responsibilities

- Provide individual and group counselling to students.
- Identify behavioural concerns and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Support students in managing stress, anxiety, emotional difficulties, and interpersonal conflicts.
- Conduct workshops and awareness programmes on mental health, emotional intelligence, and life skills.
- Collaborate with faculty, parents, and university administration, where appropriate.
- Maintain confidential counselling records and follow professional ethical standards.
- Refer students to qualified mental health professionals when specialized support is required.

Eligibility Criteria

- Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a relevant discipline.




- Relevant counselling experience in an educational institution or university will be preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and student-handling skills.
- Empathy, patience, professional integrity, and the ability to handle sensitive situations confidentially.
- Ph.D. degree is desirable.
